An expanded, comprehensive Chinese “Good Manufacturing Practice for Pharmaceutical Products” (GMP) is in effect. The GMP requires immediate compliance by new and remodeled pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities. All facilities must comply within five years. The system includes governmental inspection and certification.
